Accountability Begins in Dallas, Texas
At 24, Mike made choices that caused real harm to another person. He was convicted of aggravated sexual assault in Dallas, Texas. He does not minimize this. He does not run from it. It is where his story of accountability begins — and where he made a decision that would define the next four decades of his life.
1990s
Choosing Growth Over Bitterness
Rather than hardening, Mike chose to confront his actions honestly. He pursued education, earned certifications in finance and property management, and began the long, unglamorous work of becoming a better man — one day at a time, inside a cell.
Late 1990s
Mastering Finance & Real Estate
Mike studied real estate investment, market analysis, and financial literacy inside prison walls — building a foundation that most free men never acquire. Knowledge became his most valuable asset and his most powerful form of preparation.

After 19 years, Mike walked out of prison not as a broken man, but as a prepared one. He carried no illusions about the road ahead — only a clear-eyed commitment to building something real and giving back more than he took.
